CHRISTOPHER SATTLEWHITE  Warm embraces, I trust that this letter find all that reads it existing within a state of strong health and well being. As for myself Just existing in the land of the forgotten and forget, trying to maintain my sanity ! Which is a daily challenge coming from variest of angles, levels, and people (at liberty and incarcerated). Nevertheless, the challenges are a basis for my strength - to continue forward another day, behind these prison walls, called THE HOUSE OF PAIN.  Let me give you a brief description of myself! i'm 5'10", wt 180, brown eyes, light complection from Ventura California and seeking to establish a bridge of friendship out there in society - so I speculate that if you are reading this ad 'you will allow this isolated man to become a friend..."
I'm in need of communcating with a person who ? knows the word of friendship truly means, and not complicate matters with fantasies and lies. Considering I have experience the road of broken promises and empty dreams.  I am a victim twice, once by the fact of my incarceration and all the rightwing politicians. Two the non concern from the people of the human race. I guess! I just ave not had the opportunity of meeting that caring individual who is willing to take the chance and challenge of writing a man of flesh and bone, feelings and emotions.   We all make mistakes in life; just that mines was a costly one. Nevertheless I forge through this daily chaos, I must endure! ! ! I prefer to correspond with an individual between the age of thirty five and older. However any correspondence is welcomed.  Well I have written all that I can say at this time, anything else would be repeating myself. Sincerely; CHRISTOPHER

DONALD F SMITH JR. Serious, spiritual death row inmate seeking pen pals in  order to maintain bridge to outside world.  Looking forward to  making new friendships.  I am a 40 year old black male in good health.  I am of the Islam faith and take my spirituality very seriously.  I have a good sense of humor and I maintain an optimistic  viewpoint despite being a current resident of death row.  I have varied interests, some of which include reading, philosophy, tailoring,  designing, writing songs, and cooking.  Of course my cooking skills  have been reduced to fantasies due to my residence.  I am seeking an honest, spiritual woman.  I feel that to find someone with those  simple qualities would lead to a definite friendship and perhaps beyond.  I do not limit respondents as to age or race and will answer  all correspondence.  Write to me at:

<>ALEX THOMAS Something soft and warm...I live in an environment where everything is cold and hard I'm surrounded by cold, hard bars and concrete walls. Barbed wire fences and gun towers rise up from the ground with an eerie coldness thats too harsh to imagine. I interact daily with cold, hardened guards who feel no compassion or sympathy for me or what I'm going through. I have relationshps with cold; hardened inmates whose lives have been tragically retarded by anger, hopelessness, and self destructive behavior of various kinds. Consequently, the alliances I've formed are not ones that provide anything I could remotely call genuine, meaningful or nurturing. But the coldest and hardest part about the life I live is the lack of female contact, the lack of something soft and warm. All I can do to maintain my sanity is dream about the soft, warm presence of a woman in my life. I can only fantasize about the softness and warmth of a womans voice, the scent of her hair, the tenderness of her lips, the sweetness of her smile and the gentleness of her touch. I can only imagine experiencing the soft, warm feel of anticipation, excitement and joy to have a woman love and care for me, not just as a deserving human being but as a "MAN". These marvelous blessings are what my heart, mind body and spirit have missed and yearned for. Blessings that would surely enhance my life and cure some of the evils of my intolerable predicament. But it doesn't have to be like this. I am incarcerated in a prison where letters are allowed, where photos are allowed, where phone calls are allowed and where full contact visits are allowed. With these types of priveledges, the soft warm connection I speak of can be made. If you are a woman of any age, race, size or shape, if you understand my passionate desire to have a woman bless me and my life with her soft warm presence, please write? All letters will be answered in a timely manner and sending a photo would certainly be appreciated

MARK SCOTT THORNTON  I am a 24 year old California death row inmate writing to you in regards of some help finding pen pals to write and build friendships with to help me pass time.  I have been incarcerated since October 1993 and came to death row May 15, 1995.  Since this time I have had a few pen pals due to the media in my case  but since I came to prison a distance grew between me and the few pen pals I did have, I would like to find true pen pals to build meaningful friendships with.  At the minute I mainly write to my grandmother and younger sister as they're my only support since I have become imprisoned.  It would mean a great deal to me and would help me pass the time.  Thank you for your kindness in taking the time to read my letter.  I sincerely will be looking forward to hearing from you in the near future. Have a nice day...  Sincerely and Respectfully,

WARD WEAVER I'm full Irish on my fathers side of the family, I'm half Irish and Half Geman on my mothers side, I'm a blood brother to a Cherokee medicine man  And I grew up next to an Indian reservation (Hoopa) So I guess that makes me a cultural misfit huh ? My name is Ward F. Weaver and I tuned fifty eight the tenth of Feb. of this year and I am six foot three inches tall weighing a little over two hundred pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair that is going through the change of life. I am on death row at San Quentin Prison and have been using my time to develop my desire to be a writer and currently have several novels that I am pursuing to get published so that I can leave behind a legacy, my name in published print. So if you wish to share thoughts, ideas, desires and wishes, we can also explore the realm of loneliness and frustrations, for it is said that a burden shared loses half its weight, but a joy explored together carries twice its splendor even if in spirit. So, if you're inclined, please write me...
