               Tear Before Torn

                    There once was a man
                    who wandered the Earth
                    was shunned and mistreated
                    since the beginning of birth.

                    Having very few things ,
                    and stealing what he got,
                    living his life cheated,
                    acceptance is what he sought.

                    Not knowing true happieness,
                    neither bought nor sold,
                    theivery was his talent,
                    manipulation his hold.

                    A life full of lies
                    Never using the truth,
                    a skill he honed,
                    while in his youth.

                    A very sad story,
                    but its true indeed,
                    he wanted to be accepted,
he wanted to feel a need.

                    Never getting fairness in life,
it soon came to an end,
he was tried and convicted of murder,
                    the sin of all sin.

                    A man that was innocent,
with a past full of crime,
                    a loser, a thief, a nobody,
who now was scheduled to die.

                    Sometimes it makes one wonder,
                    why he was even born,
                    a sad case of misfortune,
                    a tear before torn.

                 WITH THESE HANDS

Since from the very beginning,
there's been a gift called man,
and from him there was taken
another gift called wo-man,

There they were to love and grow,
and to bring forth a new race,
  to make their creator proud,
to put a smole upon his face.

But in his search for wisdom,
being given his own free will,
evil thoughts entered his mind,
blood upon his hands, in kill.

He turned his back on his father,
  and led the wo-man astray,
and chose to lead his own life,
  following man's pathway.

But with his way of thinking,
not understanding the purpose of life,
he began to destroy all he was given,
his peoplen his land, his wife.

  And to seek greater comfort,
  through his greed and deceit,
  a war that he created,
  not knowing his ultimate defeat.

For now he is his own creator,
with these hands hath he made,
the end of his beginning,
his existence hath he slayed.

        THE UNKNOWN PHENOMENA

One sits and asks the question,
of why things are meant to be,
without really much thought,
or open eyes that fail to see.

The misunderstanding of one's conception
the falseness of what one believes,
misguided through life's puzzle,
reality or make believe?

Raised with specific morality,
arising from a previous thought,
programmed throught one's genetics,
becoming never again sought.

But change begins to occur,
when one becomes one's self,
then, only to be shunned,
as an outcast placed upon a shelf.

For one who displays individuality,
must first be accepted by the whole,
for the road will be endless,
if others refuse to go.

The answer to life's mystery,
was never the unknown,
the answer lies within one's self,
as the individual has always been shown.

                         UNSHED TEAR

Standing but in the openness
viewing all the sights to be seen
absorbing all the magnificence
of what life truly must mean.

The beauty and the ugliness,
together go hand in hand,
As the sun; the wind; the rain;
must bring birth to the land.

A land that's slowly dying,
from abuse and hearts with greed,
using others for stepping stones,
not caring what others may need.

Watching all the starvation,
and homeless lying in the streets,
passers-by give no notice,
of whether their hearts still beat.

As these scenes I witness,
a tear falls from my eyes,
how can the heart be so cold,
to let these poor people die.

Or create an injustice,
and label it as a law,
to further their ability,
becoming divided, we fall.

They say life isn't easy,
for the poor this is true,
the rich are the exception,
to this golden rule.

But as all have a beginning,
they also have an end,
the best advice from life,
give a hand; be a friend.
