JAMES ROBINSON
" Live Life with MORAL and intellectual courage. "
                                                                                          - James Robinson

WORDS FROM CALIFORNIA'S DEATH ROW AT SAN QUENTIN
INFORMATION ON JAMES' CASE TO COME

As you will see from his writings below, James is a talented and compelling author and commentator.
He is also currently  researching and working on a novel, as well as a collection of wonderful short stories.
He hopes to find a publisher upon completion. (Contact info.at end of page)

"I was an economics major in college and had my sights set on becoming a  'modern day robber baron'  like J P Morgan, Rockefeller, etc, etc.  Now I find more wealth in trying to show others mans inhumanity towards man than chasing the lure of superficial wealth.  IF I can be successful at this, I know I shall live comfortably and rest without fear of my riches being stolen from me."

" I think history is profoundly important to combat the atrocities being played on people by government figures and the media.
I hope that my writings will someday open the eyes of at least one person who will stand up to make a difference and live by the decree to which I now, often times, end my letters with.
That is " Live life with MORAL and intellectual courage."

Author's Note for "As We Dream In A Paranoid State":
Both sides of the coin of Crime & Punishment needs to be polished here
in the United States.  There can never be any growth while each side of the
coin thinks that the unreal is real, and sees the real as unreal.  Because of
this, the whole issue of Crime & Punishment has become a realm of false
thinking.  *  There are greater and more serious realities in prison, that are
more frequent, than what is present in this collection.  There are incessantly
more tragedies, politics, riots, rapes, stabbings, fights, betrayals, and suicides
than any work could fairly display.  I merely chose to illuminate the most prevelant
theme beneath the glamour of deceptive politics and negativity that emanate
from the subject of Crime and Punishment in America.  *  What is more obverse
to all the propaganda and romanticising of each side of this etiologic coin, is the
fact that (deep down inside) each side wants the same thing; to find a better way to
live. This is the innate goal of all humankind.  *  Thus, we all need to use our
abstract faculty which guides us to look at all shaping factors of a given situation
as revealed by various modes of thinking and preceiving.  The obvious fact is
that anyon can suddenly find themselves advancing and ascending, not just
because its human nature to adapt and overcome but also, because they are
presented with favourable opportunities to do so.  These are the keys to begin
to know how to accurately understand the issues of Crime and Punishment, and
most importantly, people.      ----  JAMES ROBINSON
